My wife used to go to the dealer, Honda in this case. After the 4th or 5th time of me pointing out how she was being lied to, overcharged, and the s*** work quality she came around. Then I told her it was mostly because she’s a woman and wouldn’t know to call them on it. She hit the roof. Now...
The easiest thing, in my opinion, would be to call Cruiser Outfitters. I ordered my entire suspension refresh from them and couldn’t be happier with it.
I had a set of the Michelin AT’s on my Tacoma. Calling them AT is a bit of a stretch but they rode great and wore great. When these KO2’s that came on my LC wear out, I’m going back to them.
Many thanks to gregnash and Cruiser Outfitter for the parts and advice for a front end refresh. I replaced the CV axles, bearings, races, upper and lower ball joints, and associated clips, wheel seals, gaskets, and flanges. I have a list of part numbers if anyone needs them. I highly recommend...
Went back to the lock smith to get the 2nd master key and the tech couldn’t get the cruiser to go into program mode. Told me to go to the dealer. It’s gonna cost a bit more, but I’m ready to check this off the list. I’ve never had this much trouble getting a key.
TPD cancelled the order saying the part isn’t available. I searched by part number on Partsouq and got no results. Guess I’ll try the hardware store this week.
Thank you sir!! I just ordered them from TPD. It said they don’t fit my vehicle but I’ve had them be wrong before. I assume that’s why I couldn’t find them when I was looking on their site.
Now for the dumbest problem I’ve had to date. I’m leaving around July 1 for 3 days of fishing for tarpon in Sanibel followed by four days fishing for reds in St. Augustine. Parking is a problem at one of the places so I’m taking the paddle board. First time I’ve thought about using the roof...
Got the actuator replaced.
Also had the crank position sensors replaced due to a sporadic rough idle. I have the cam position sensor as well that will be replaced at the next timing belt service.
For the first time since owning the cruiser, I need to use the roof rack to haul a paddleboard. I climbed up there today to adjust the bars and found I'm missing two of the bolts with the plastic grip top are missing. I tried to locate them on Toyota Parts Deal with no luck. Does anyone know...
Look in my build thread (Baba Yaga). It’s close to the first page. I detailed all the stuff with part numbers. I called them up and described how I used the vehicle, they recommended a package, and I’ve been completely happy with it.
