    KDSS Conundrum

I spent far too much time and energy chasing a suspension lean. Anyting under 5/8" i wouldnt worry about; Which is within toyota's specifications. One thing i noticed is that when i attempted to level the rear, i was about 3/4" off, by adding rim packers (5-10mm spacers) there was a direct...

    LC 2013 or 2019?

Another vote for the 2019. This is coming from someone with a 2013 that I adore. From a mechanical/repair stand point 2019 has the updated radiator so thats one less concern to have on a new/used car purchase. Also the older 200s are seeing more of the timing cover oil seepage/leaks, cam tower...

Nice set up. Rig looks fantastic. How is the water port setup working out on the dissent swing out? I have been eying this but wasn’t sure if there was enough clearance between it and the accessory tray/swingout.

SQOD Squad - Stupid Question Of the Day

Go for OEM Brand new. Changing the alternator on the 200 isnt a simple install like on a chevy 350. It's labor intensive so best to buy OEM to ensure you are getting a quality product.

Impressive. Good stuff! Once the 200 is finished with trader joe's runs and kiddo duties i am going to pick your brain to get the deets on this setup.

    Need rear bump stop recommendations

WaWaWeeWa! Thats impressive and well done. If it happened to anyone here my money would be on @ga12r1 to stuff a tire so deep that it induces a tailgate failure and water entrusion. Wholly moly lol! Appreciate sharing these details. This has me calling it quits at LT295/70r18. I dont...

    Need rear bump stop recommendations

Yeah i agree, at the moment its a non issue with the tire at 34.0" Seems like anything much larger will definitely be rubbing things raw in the wheel wells and possibly coming in contact with the rear bumper. When the times right I may be upsizing to LT295/70r18, LT285/75r18 or 35x11.5r17. All...

Power Steering Pressure Feed Tube Leak part 44410-60710 )

The OEM part here in the states was around $600 USD at my local dealership . Yikes! I waited a bit and replaced it when there was one of the 25% sales being offered by an online Toyota dealerships parts dept. These sales pop up a few times a year and can save a bundle. The seepage was so...

Power Steering Pressure Feed Tube Leak part 44410-60710 )

With the right tools: crow foot wrench, swivel sockets and access to a lift it wouldn't be too difficult. Pretty much just unbolting the old line from the power seering rack and reservoir and installing the new one and topping off the fluid afterwards. However access to the drivers side where...

New to the 200 Club... let the journey begin!!

Congrats on the new rig! Certainly are hitting the ground running with this build. Something that may be playing a roll in the overly sensitive steering feel is your low caster numbers in your alignemnt. This is something i have felt first hand when my numbers were in the 1 degree of positve...

    TPMS sensors - best/cheap source?

Very cool, nicely done utilizing the hi-lift to break the bead. Never crossed my mind to use it in this fashion.

    TPMS sensors - best/cheap source?

Summit Racing or amazon for the Denso equivalent OEM TPMs. Typically around $35 a piece. I have used them in a couple sets for the last 5 years without any issues.

    Need rear bump stop recommendations

I think i may go this route of adding a small shim/spacer to gain some clearance for the time being. Going up to a 35" will need at least 5/8" to 3/4" spacer which makes me a little uneasy adding that much materieal between the bump stop and frame. Ill probably look into getting some extended...

    Need rear bump stop recommendations

Curious to know what folks here are doing if anything at all to address the rear tires rubbing the upper fender. My 34.0” tires at full compression have rubbed the top of the wheel well raw in a few spots. I have the Duro bumps on the front and rear which have made a massive improvement in...

    Fridge (and accessory) recommendations

I vote for the ironamn setup. That 60/40 split will allow for a much better and efficient use of space to split up the frozen and fridge goods. This is something i would have liked to have seen in my Iceco. Also having that larger 60 split available will allow you to run a single zone at times...
