my computer with all my pics crashed so i don't have any of my 62. but here is a link that my friend ran on the project. I mapped out the cuts and figured out how much to take out. I also knew that i should have someone with experience do the cut and weld, so thats where my buddy duwayne came...
I have the 60/14b combo in my 62.I to have been running 39.5 boggers.SOA is all i did for lift and i had to do major trimming on the front fenders. in the rear i just lowwerd the bump stops (alot).
ok, i have found this info to be true,now can anyone find out the production date that they changed the block????
I called the local toyota dealer,and you'd have thought i was speaking marshin or something :-0
I can't remeber where i read this,but is it true?
The 3.0 out of a 1988 4-runner will not work in a 1992 4-runner due to the 1988 block not having the right motor mount placement.and in 1989 and^ the block came with bolt holes in both locations.
true or not???
i'am thinking mini rear and dual mini cases. though front only would be sweet!!
Its funny you say that about the decals........ I'am talking to a friend that does them to see if i can make some duplicates of the ones on it. their cheesy but i like them too
I'am sorry, i should have stated.I do not have the original axles for the truck. I throw a set of mini axles under it so it would be mobile. the rear bolted right in. That got me thinking. if i use the mini rear it opens up alot of t-case options.
You see my original plan was to use the axles...
this may not be the best place to ask but i'am going to anyways;
which rear axle do you think is better and why
v6 mini axle or a fj 62 i will be running one itn the back of my new project

the 3fe from my fj62 is now in a fj40. he took the computer and some wiring. as for the tranny the auto/t-case lenght is awfully long for a 40.not saying it can't be done but the rear d-shaft would be reeeaallly short.do a search here or pirate and you will see plenty on putting 62 axles under a...
