Finished the installation of the Dakota Digital Tach interface on a stock 91 LC tachometer. Works great with my 2uz swap! I created a Visio drawing to help anyone with this installation and I had to draw it out to get it straight in my head haha
I'm probably over 5k on my swap and countless hours. I think the LS swap is the better route, but it was hard to justify since I got a working 2uz for $200
Hello, I'm in the market for a full float rear axle for my 91 LC. I'm wondering the 100 series 98 99 model uses the same offset as a 97 and are the rear calipers and rotors the same?
I'm about $3800 in on this swap. I bought a running 2002 Sequoia and used that as the donor. The donor is the best way to do this swap in my opinion because I used a ton of parts that would have cost way over the $800 I paid for the entire truck. My LC is a 91 making it a bit easier to swap and...

I'm in the process of a 2UZ swap in my 91 80 and I want long tube headers from JBA for this build. Has anyone used long tubes and do they clear the frame rails? I'm still building the engine in the garage and want to put it all together and see how it fits in the bay before building the motor...
looks like i can swap the cooler of the oil filter, need to see what it looks like in the truck before this is final. I always like relocating filters for better accessibility and better cooling, but factory parts is the goal and they always seem to be better made.
So the oil filter location thing: I came across a local guy with a 99 sc400 engine. Ended up buying it for $100 and plan to use the rear sump oil pan, pump pickup, windage tray, oil filter holder and a few other things. I did not realize the oil filter faced the rear on all rear sump pans in the...
