I am working on my '67 LV wagon. Can anyone identify what these lugs are in the floor area of the rear passenger seat? There are four total. I have a few later model LV's that do not have them but have seen photos with them here on mud. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Mike
Can anyone post up some pics of how the roof vent should attach to the roof? Both the hinge side and the latch side if possible. Trying to check off the last few items on my '62 fj40 and also need to fix my fj25. Thanks in advance, Mike
This switch is in my 1980 FJ45 with factory AC. It is a two position switch, so its either on or off. I've driven the truck for a year or so and just noticed it last week.
Is the purpose of the switch to up the idle when using the AC? The engine seems to be able to deal with the AC without...
I am going to paint the "Toyota" lettering on my tailgate red as it was originally.
Any guidance on the best method to use?
I think I might bugger the job if I try and free-hand it with a brush. Dense foam roller?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
Can anyone give me some guidance on what the original color scheme might have been on my '67 FJ45LV?
I have seen many white interiors on restored vehicles, and my '67 looks like it may have originally been white as well.
I do have two other examples, a '66 and a '64, that have the following...
Some photos of my newly acquired fj25. Let me know if there is anything specific I can photograph for reference.

Wipers
Door Hardware
License Plate Light
Painted Frame
Wire grid behind front grill
Roof Vent Door
Owners Manual
Can anyone give me any guidance on what the factory top color would have been on my 1964 SWB, white cap or same as body color?
My truck has Spring Green top over white primer matching the rest of the truck. I believe it to be the original paint.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
Just thought I would post some photos of the swb 45 we have been working on over the past few months.

I'm starting my first LV restoration. I have three vehicles to start with. The red one will get the most $ and effort to get back to original, then we'll see how far we get with the blue & white one.
I look forward to all the comments and guidance I can get.
Thanks in advance, Mike
Here a thread on my '62. Had pretty good material to start with. Purchased vehicle from original owner in western Oregon.
Still not 100%. Have to paint "LANDCRUISER" in bezel, install new headliner and a few other things.
Anybody know of a mechanic in Northern Mississippi that is familiar with cruisers? I have a leaking axle seal and need some front brake work done on my '78 Aussie BJ40.
Thanks in advance. Mike
