Looking for a good weekend ride that has been maintained. 2000+ Doesn't need to be a show truck but prefer not beat to death & neglected. Mileage not crucial if maintained. North San Diego County / Temecula area is ideal.
I have 2 aftermarket receiver dryers for the a/c. These should be replaced anytime the system is open. Make an offer. If you want to pick them up in Temecula $5 for both.
I have a allpro offroad fornt axle birfield kit, Includes the 2 claw washers for wheel bearings but missing drive flange gaskets. It is on ebay right now but I will sell outright for $90 shipped. Also 2 a/c receiver dryers. $10 each plus shipping.
Just to warn everyone these alternators are junk off ebay.Sold under BNR parts they have a nice little certificate and some other BS showing in the auction. I know I was warned but it was such a good deal and had a 1 year warranty. Well it lasted 3 months, left me stranded and now the place on...
You may have a point there. Every time I bring in my tires to be balanced they say they are out of balance even if it has only been a few days since the last balancing. This is at Discount tire. I might try that road force balancing, a place near me has it, I just need to see what it costs.
I have the same thing. Mine is more like 30-40mph but sounds exactly the same. I thought I had it fixed when I switched to m/t tires but it was just hiding it I think. I now have a/t's again and it's back and bothers me every day. I think taking it down to a driveline shop and having them check...
I have the electronic FSM and could not find a wiring diagram that describes the igniter wires. That sounds like what it is as it has 2 legs and then goes into 1 for the ground. Thanks for the info.
Here is the plug. It goes to a smaller plug then a single wire with a ring terminal I am thinking must be a ground. Also does an igniter show any signs of going out or is it all or nothing. I have a stumble when underload mostly up hills but only occurs sometimes. No idea when it will happen...
I'm in love/hate mode right now too. I am thinking of selling it before anything else happens, I can't imagine what next. It seems I have spent 10 times as much on this thing as I did my Toyota pickup.
All depends on the truck. Get it checked out run a exhaust sniffer test on the radiator too or add that dye that will change if exhaust is present. My cruiser had 180k when I got it and found out it had a blown HG, cracked head after trying to figure out my mysterious coolant loss. 3 years later...
Just retighten them and check again in a little while. They may have seated or pushed out excess grease.....Make sure the washers are smooth and everything.
