A/C Heater Blower Motor not working. Can I test the resister?

Thanks guys, for for the sake of it, If they are bypassed at full fan, that means that my fan should operate with them good or bad at full speed. The lower speeds would suffer. I have power to the dash panel, it lights up, the A/C button lights up when depressed and the motor tested good. So I...

A/C Heater Blower Motor not working. Can I test the resister?

I can hear it click, guessing to turn other things on. My A/C/ light turns on so I know it is getting panel power.

A/C Heater Blower Motor not working. Can I test the resister?

A better question might be, Can I skip the resister and make a jumper to validate that it is indeed the resister, I am having trouble getting the resister out of the A/C box right now but it appears the springs are broken.

Carb keeps draining down overnight, I give up

Yes. Insulator is still there. This only started happening after we rebuilt the carb

Carb keeps draining down overnight, I give up

Guessing it is going into the intake because it wants to fire up right off the bat then is starved. It just started doing it when we rebuilt the carb.

Carb keeps draining down overnight, I give up

Ok so I have done everything, truck would not idle, we rebuilt it and it runs freaking great, but if it sits > 4 or 5 hours it drains down then I half to go full chock for 45 seconds turning it over until the owl fills. This sucks every time it sites, literally. It is a desmogged '82 60. So I...

    Carburetor Issue

Having carb issues too as well. Mine would not idle, so we soaked it and rebuilt it, now it idles awesome, however, everytime it sits for a long perior >4 hours, the entire carb bowl drains down and I have to chock it and spin it for 30 seconds to fill it back up and get it to start.

    Carb-fuel bowl leaking down

So, first it would not idle, rebuilt the carb, idles great now. The only problem I am having now is that when ingo to start it, I have to turn it over for 45 seconds to try and fill the bowlThen it drives great. If it sits for more than two hours, the fuel bowl drains down and empties. Any ideas.

Why do I have to keep flipping this?

So today I piddled with hooking up the choke cable for the first time only to discover that the cable was broken mid way through. Luckily my buddy has one he is mailing over and maybe I can just live with choking it every time I start it.

Why do I have to keep flipping this?

Rebuilt the head about 8k miles ago and adjusted all the valves then.

Why do I have to keep flipping this?

So it did start with one press of the throttle and now with the rebuilt carb, everything it hooked up, it requires full chock to start?

Why do I have to keep flipping this?

Gotcha, it runs a whole lot better with the carb rebuilt. I drove it about 2k miles, blew a head gasket, then drove it about 7-8K miles and had to rebuild the carb. I suppose I can hook the cable right back up and just pull it closed until it starts and let it ride.

Why do I have to keep flipping this?

So it is in the open position. So it is operating correctly. I guess the real question/problem statement is. Before having to rebuild the carb, the truck started up just fine without using the choke, idled great and then all of a sudden would not idle at all. Rebuilt the carb, idles okish but...

Why do I have to keep flipping this?

It sure if I am missing something or hooked something up wrong but every single time I go to start my truck following the carb rebuilding have to push this assembly forward, start the truck and it’s great. As soon as I push the gas peddle it flips back? What did I do wrong?
