    1977 fj40 I got a 3b out of Canada so it was 12volt It bolted on had a couple issues finding a starter that fit but it is all good to go now

    Hey guys I'm in the middle of a B to 3B swap and I am having a crazy time getting the starter to work two ordered from Australia didn't fit and the one I did manage to get to fit spun but didn't engage the flywheel. Has anyone been through this and had any luck?

    Has anyone had experience doing this? I have a 1977 BJ40 and I have installed the 3B on to my 4 speep tranny but am having trouble getting a starter to work/engage/fit has anyone been through this? Do I need to replace the bell housing to get it working?
