    Beaumont, TX is the closest airport, about 25 minutes away. Lake Charles, LA is about 60 minutes away. Houston is about 2 hours away. I live in Vidor, TX and I have an office in Beaumont, TX.

    It's about 7'3". Most garages are 7' and it will not fit in a standard garage. I have a 9' garage door on my shop which is where I keep it. Without the rack, it should fit.

    Small brake problem.

    I still have the truck and it's been great. I've had no other brake issues since. I never got around to rebuilding the original. Since the repair, this was a daily driver vehicle. I wouldn't hesitate with the Fenco.

    Still for sale. I didn't notice any difference in mileage before the tires and after. When mileage is as bad as it is on these trucks, it's hard to see a change. Just think, 1 mpg is almost 10% change. There might have been a change before and after, but nothing noticeable and I don't notice...

    The accelerator cable can get stiff. Mine is not buttery smooth but pretty good. My first 80 had one that was really stiff and I replaced it and then it was silky. I think they just get corroded with time in the sleeve.

    Yes, I still have it. I've had two different people say they were buying it but after looking into shipping, they both backed out. I'll be putting it up for sale locally soon. I was hoping another IH8mud enthusiasts would end up with it.
