Taking the window down will be an issue onto itself. Lets just say I cannot get the window down. But that thing is not moving up , down or sideways. Will soak it with penetrating oil and see if that helps.
I have been trying to remove this upper safety bar , All bolts removed but its wedged in there and I cannot get it off.
Any help .. What am I doing wrong.
I am in need of information. I have the dash light number 6E194 these are the bulbs for the gauges and speedo. I see a resistor in the back of the gauge cluster but I have not traced the circuit.
My questions ;
Is the resistor for the Amp gauge ?
Are the 6E194 bulbs 24 Volts ?
Thank you

I found a shop in Moncton New Brunswick, MR. Starter and Alternator, who is willing to work with me to fit a 24 volt Delco 1 wire 10Si. I will post some pics in the next days. I would take the pics today , but we are in a snow storm (not really buts its snowing steadily) and its 0 Celsius ...
I need to replace my alternator and the voltage regulator. However I am not spending 1000 CDN on alternator and I still need an external rectifier and voltage regulator.
There are 24 volt 10Si single wire alternators. If I have to machine a bracket then so be it. As for the single wire that's...
Well here we are 1 year later and this year its colder than the North Pole. I have to thank the community with such great ideas. Going with 2 12 V batteries, bring everything back to 24 volts. I did have her running in Nov before putting her in the garage. So now I dig into the wiring loom ...
well here is what triggered me. When cold usually well below -20 C after a few minutes the temp warning light comes on for about a minute or so and goes away. The truck is still in the cold range. At first I thought it was a cold water indicator as well, but notice that the light comes on...
Getting close to the half a million milestone on original engine and still pulling like a train. Does not burn any oil, but has a leak I believe is coming from the front. Too cold to go throw myself under a truck.
So my question is.

Trying to get my Beast ready for winter and I am trying to find a heater core and other diffusors for windshield defrosting. Anyone have any ideas on how I could get these parts and if there are similar parts I can use.
The only other option is to go with a universal kit. I live in New...
Its a 1981 Its a 24v setup but the PO had it wired to Ford style relay. The source was from a single 12v battery to the glow plugs activated by a push button. I am rebuilding all of the wiring and want to run this off a 24 v source. On another post I received some part numbers for 24v Glow...
