I came across this rig in North East Maryland. Suzuki Samari on a Ford Bronco Chassis. 44" Swampers for tires. Not even close to being street legal.
:eek::rolleyes:
Kina,
I just noticed your post saying that you sent me a pm. I did not receive it. Please email me at teleguy11@yahoo.com if you can help me out with my part request.
Thanks,
Jerry
I agree with KLF that the Craftsman 2 1/8" socket will do the trick. I have personally used this Craftsman 3/4" drive socket at a one time cost of $26.00 to replace my front rotors. Works Great!!!! Once you purchase it, you will have it for life!!!

Hello all...
I'm searching for a Heater/AC Control Switch unit for my 97 FZJ80. It appears that my Temp slide control has gone Kaputs. If anyone has one in their parts bin collecting dust, and is willing to part with it, please let me know via email at Teleguy11@yahoo.com.

Mike,
I am willing to part with my OEM Stereo/CD/Cassette head unit from my 97 FZJ80. However, I can't part with the brackets as they are essential for future installs. The unit is in perfect working order and shows clean. I'll take $100.00 for it.
Let me know if you...

I can't remember if there are stainless steel sliders in the caliper mounts at the top and bottom of the pads. But if there is, be sure to remove them and take a wire brush to the surfaces directly underneath each slider to remove any rust buildup. The rust buildup will cause...
Sorry for the late reply to this post as I just read it.
I recently purchased a Makita 18v Li Ion cordless on the advise of KLF(a forum member and my big brother). After 4 months of using this drill ranging from a 3 day deck job using 2 1/2" squaredrive Deckmate screws to a 2 week idle stint...
BSBham... I purchased my '97 80 from a guy on Ebay. I was very pleased with the deal and his willingness to give me what I requested to close the deal. He is a dealer located in Elkins, WV and sells only Land Cruisers. He usually has no less than 20 Cruisers on his lot so his knowledge of...
Observation: Nice attempt at a TLC MONSTER truck. Love the Rancho shocks....
Opinion: Useless offroad capabilities that more than likely is way underpowered if equiped with the stock engine.
Cons: As mentioned before...that hitch. IMHO it will inhibit the truck from going up any serious incline...
I'm pretty confident all of the connectors are secure, but I'll double check them as soon as I can find some free time. You see, everytime I go to work on my truck, the girlfriend starts up with those all too familiar words.... "When are you going to fix some of the things around the house?"...
Have you had a chance to look at the factory speakers from the doors? Since there is very little clearance in the door cavities, Toyota found some POS reverse coned speakers that require very little space behind the mounting surface. The problem with that is they suck at producing quality sound...

IMHO....
The stock amps are good for nothing. Take a look at the wattage rating of the stock "speakers" located in the rear. It should be printed on the speaker magnet.
As a rule, you want to put more amplifier power rating into your speakers than the speakers are rated for. You...
Need specifics...
As mentioned before, the specifics of your install are critical for troubleshooting your problem. IMHO, if you have installed a aftermarket headunit and amplifier, the stock power/speaker wires should have been avoided at all costs. The majority of amplifiers manufactured...
Bring it to me....
Not to be too forward but.....
Forget about the stock wiring and speakers. They are junk.
Save up for a decent amplifier/speaker combination that includes a subwoofer.
After purchasing #2 above, have an experienced installer spend a day performing his magic with your rig...
I apologize if this has been posted before.... I am having a problem with the heater/AC controls in my 97 FZJ80. During the winter months the beast is fully warmed up and will suddenly start blowing cold air even though the temp slider is set to full hot. Recently she has been doing just the...
