I was getting it warmed up today to take it out and about, and ended up running it out of gas! :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
So after getting some gas in it, it started back up, but now it will not run AT ALL with out the Choke.
Do you think I released some sediment into the fuel filter? or maybe...
I designed these on Google's sketch-up, after i saw a thread in the Expedition section started by Bogo.
The bar is a 2x4 by 3/8" Steel tube, the Kickers are 2x2 by 3/8",
gussets and mounting plates are 1/4"
I have the kickers angled down about 10 degrees to get under the rocker panel...
I am thinking about the best way to get E-lockers in my 60. aside from a total axle swap from an 80 - (which is still a possibility some day)
I know you can swap in fj62 4.11's, I have done that one. Is it that easy to swap in the E-locked third members from an 80? a guy on another forum...
At least that's what i call them. The two metal tubes that should come out of the air pump aren't there.
I took my 60 in for an emmissions inspection last week and it passed all but the under hood visual inspection. :mad: The guy tells me I need to have the hoses from the air intake...

My Bumpers on my 60 aren't exactly stock -
I'm going to try to take them off tomorrow. The problem is that they are 2X4 steel stock :eek: and they're welded right to the frame arms that the factory bumper bolts to. I have air tools, including an Air hammer and Die Grinder, i have cut...
When you pull the third member from the Rear, you have to pull the c-clips to get the axles out, so all the spider gears and retainer pin have to come out ---right?
With the front, the spindle holds the axles in the diff, so when you pull the third you dont remove the retainer pin and spider...
I took off the weatherstrip that the hood sits on, right below the windsheild on the cowl. It was completely destroyed and all the tabs broke when i pulled it off.
How important is it it replace? I guess my engine bay will get wet without it.

I went to Jump start my 60 this morning, because I wanted to pull it out from beside my house, I'ts been sitting for about a month.
At first it would turn over a few times (once or twice) Then it stopped all together. I let it charge up for a while then tried it again, but It's not moving at...
