I am having a very similar issue with my 1995 FZJ80. Any chance you could point me to where the CC actuator is...? I presumed that you mean a silicon grease on the connector, too, correct?
Thanks.
ID10T update - I have been waiting for a CLD switch and therefore had not reinstalled the face place which includes the harness/switch for the hazard lights. I decided to connect the switch in an a-ha moment ..... turn signals work.
The end.
I pulled my steering wheel to be rewrapped in new leather. Reinstalled in reverse order, all systems go, except the turn signals do not work. The hazard lights work fine. I believe the relay is the same for both based on FSM and a quick mud search. I was very careful (but not entirely...
Hey, slow95z. I dropped the ball on follow up on this part. I am looking for the passenger front arm rest. I think the part number is 74230a (but it is the same as the Toyota Sienna). Mu interior color is brown/tan, I think Toyota calls it oak. Hope I haven't missed a chance to replace it...
That pic of the white Cruiser was all I needed. My hood is a filthy, dark green and I couldn't tell that it mounted 6 inches aft of the leading edge of the hood. Makes complete sense now. I'm in good shape. Thanks mudders.
Hey Tools - do you mean that it's not installed on the hood? Another data point is that the part I got (53381-60010) is longer than the gap between the two pieces over each headlamp.
I own a 95 FZJ80 and only noticed the middle part of the hood trim was missing after the headlight parts started to fall off. Ordered all three and both the headlight trim parts went on perfectly. The middle piece, TOYOTA OEM Hood-Front Seal Gasket 5338160010 is not even close. It overlaps...
It is and it’s the exact question I asked them in the phone. They said they’d send me pics of underneath and they haven’t. Pics of the undercarriage are glaringly missing from the post, too. It’s not far and Ive got a powerful curiosity.... curious enough to have to deal with a used car...
mudders - I recognize this post-in-haste may be an annoyance, but I’m new to 100 series (I’ve got a 60 and an 80 which I’ve had for years). Going to look at an ‘04 with crazy low miles and clean carfax today. Asking what issues to look out for that are peculiar to the 100? Hoping to get it...
