In case anyone doesn't frequent the classifieds: 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser
  2. SOLD  Waxhaw, NC (near Charlotte) - 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser

After much thought and deliberation, I decided to sell my amazing triple-locked Land Cruiser. I started a new position last March that has me travelling a lot. So, I just have no time to play with my LC. I bought this is July 2019 from a seller in Kentucky. It originated in Alaska for a...
  3. Any recommendation on a windshield replacement shop in Charlotte area?

I have about a 3-4 inch crack. A Safelite tech came out this morning and he said the crack was too long to repair. So, he said I would eventually have to replace the windshield. I did a quick search, and only found one recommendation for Quackt Glass in Fort Mill. But that was a post from a...
  4. Did this Owner's Manual belong to anyone?

I always like having the literature that came with a vehicle, and my 1994 LC didn't have anything. I found this on eBay. It was located in Arizona, but I was surprised to find it belonged to a Larry from Fayetteville. Larry, YOHB?
  5. Caliper bolt

Before I order from the dealer, anyone live in the Charlotte area and happen to have a spare caliper bolt for an 80 series (1994)? We are planning a short trip to the mountains and I wanted to take my LC.
  6. Replacing front main seal, oil pump gasket, and whatever else my 80 is pissing

With the help of roadstr6, kiichiro, and a lot of other Charlotte locals, I've managed to keep all the work done to my 80 in my driveway or someone else's, which is awesome. I've learned so much in the process. Now, I want to start thinking about finally fixing the usual leaks - front main...
  7. Charlotte area meetup (Pics)

This was my very first ONSC event/meetup. It was great meeting those who attended, and also putting faces to the names I knew.
  8. Planning to do knuckle rebuild in March... HAMOM (Charlotte) or should I tacklet this myself?

Now that I will be getting a 2nd vehicle, my LC is no longer my daily driver, and I'm no longer rushed to get it back on the road ASAP. With that said, we have a long drive planned this summer, and I want to get all the leaks addressed, starting with the knuckles. I would love to schedule a...
  9. Wiring harness missing for Oil Level Sending Unit

So, this is my first time posting in this forum. I have a 1994 LC, and have owned it for a little over a year now. Currently, I've been working on the electrical gremlins that I inherited from the previous owners. I finally got rid of the check engine light. Apparently both knock sensors...
  10. Dipped my wheels today!

Was never a fan of plasti-dip, but when I can't afford new wheels right now and I didn't want to permanently paint the stock wheels, this is such a great option. It also helps me in deciding if I like the color on my LC.
  11. Anyone have this clip/attachment?

It's for the driver's side door flare for my 94.
  12. Army Green paint

I've owned my 94 LC less than a year. I didn't plan on getting her painted so soon. But, never say never. Before: After:
  13. Part number needed for the exterior door windows and where to buy

The black rubber on all 4 have been warped since I got my LC. Now, it's gotten brittle and just cracking off. Where can I get these? I forgot the name of them.
  14. Reverse gear slipping

So, with new fluids in on the diffs, transfer case and tranny, I went out with my wife and kids to do some hiking. Well, I discovered a reverse issue, similar to this: 1994 FZJ80 Transmission Problem Starting out slow in reverse gear, everything is fine. As I hit the gas to go faster, it...
  15. Some maintenance questions for 1994 LC

After bleeding the brakes and seeing how dark it was, I'm looking to replace all fluids. I've already done a coolant flush. I was looking into the differential/transfer case gear oil change. Is it recommended to do those? I saw one YouTube video where the guy says he does it every 3k. A bit...
  16. Never seen brakes like mine!!! Big thanks to the previous owner(s).

I knew they were bad, but I had no idea they were this bad. Owned it for 7 months. I should have changed them out within the first month. :steer::censor::bang:
  17. Newbie owner here (well 7 months now)

Hey all. Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Dennis. I've owned my 1994 LC since May of this year. I knew about this group, but being on Facebook a lot (unfortunately), it was easier for me to jump on to the Toyota 80 Series USA group and ask questions... until I had a not-so-nice response...
