So per request, weird Firepig stuff. 1st pic is the odd PB booster and the PTO Governor. Second is the PB booster line connection to the intake manifold. Third pic is part of the oil cooler. It has an in and out line that runs to the oil pan, which has an oil cooler built in to it. Weird stuff!
I'm trying to find a build thread from not long ago. Believe it was an LS swap but more interesting was some kind of slider shackles on the springs and a carpet kit of some sort. I just can't find it... anybody remember?
Am prototyping a rear glass gear that @fj55-100 3D printed. Fits like a glove, had to remove the odd spacer that lived under the stock broken gear. It spins the worm gear seemingly perfectly. Oddly now that I have it together the arms travel very smoothly. But only thru about 25% travel then...
For the tailgate glass keyed switch, I have a couple of the assemblies but no keys. Is there a way to get these keyed that anybody is aware of? Also, for the weather stripping I know from the other thread that the main perimeter seal is being investigated to be made by that company in...

In planning stage for the PS conversion on Oink55. I currently have PS from the previous owner but it’s a Saginaw box. Problem is the chunk out of the front crossmember that I don’t like. What year FJ60 has the most adaptable box? I’ve also heard 77-79 Bronco boxes can work. Ideas?

Bought the Slocruisers license plate light repops. If you were worried about quality, don’t be. Pix below sho theirs on right and a NOS one I had. Couple very minor differences that you’d never notice unless they were side by side. One difference is that the rubber base is angled on the OEM...
I’d assume replacement regulators are not available. Anybody know of somebody who repairs them or sells parts? I searched around the forums, didn’t see anything. Which seems odd as we all have 4 ancient ones inhabiting our doors. 😬.
As I’m replacing the front fenders I have the option of going back to stock running lights. Currently has FJ70 ones. Good things are they are available, look kinda custom and may be less easily damaged. Are the stockers even available? This is a restomod not a restoration. 😬

Found a roller of a 1994 FZJ80. As I am old I don't necessarily enjoy full leaf springs any more. Curious if anybody has ever heard of putting a Piggy on this frame / suspension to gain that bitchin' ride. I have some fab skills and access to master fabricators. So I have that going for me...
OK, I've decided to go full stupid on this for an attempt at the near $100K BAT crowd. I shared this before, but I got the Pig below for $1,500 and it is largely complete and rust free. (It was at somebody's honey hole out in the middle of the desert). I'm gonna go crate LS of some sort...
Plates came in. This thing is so much fun, looking forward to having it all figured out better for car shows and fund raising next year.
