Yeah so CEL still comes on after a while with the EGR temp plugged in and stashed on the intake. I guess I'll have to try and jump them with a paper clip and see if that works.
Old thread but some more info.
Today I removed all the vsv's including the fule one (I bypassed it with a peace of hose) and I also removed the blower on my 91.
This is after running for a week with the egr/smog pump delete kit and the cel on.
I also removed the egr temp sensor on my old one...
I just removed all the vsv and the blower. I took the old egr temp sensor out of the egr and plugged it in and stashed it next to the intake. I have the battery unplugged now going to see if that'll reset the computer and turn off cel.
I just did egr and pump removals on my 91 fj80 with almost 300k.
Got a cel. I think this is because mine must be a California native.
(From what I've gathered on here the cal 91and92's got an egr temp sensor. I guess your just supposed to be able to jumper the plug with a paper clip and no more...
Im late to the game. There doesn't seem to be any emf exsost or any other exsost for my 91 fj80 anymore. Does anybody know someone who will do a custom cat delete system in Minnesota or Wisconsin?
I wish i could get the emf. Eveybody seems happy and i know there needs to be flex
Not sure what the 91 got for a manual either. The ausy guys probably know. But the 88 fj62 switched from the 4 speed manual to the h55 five speed right? And the fj62 have the 3fe right?
Also, I heard the 4 speed can be modded into a 5 speed. This might be the easiest option if the h55 wasn't in...
Hi i have a 91 fj80. Will this bolt up?
I understand drive shafts may need to be shortened but will a a440 bolt up to this 88 fj62 transfer case? From what I digg up from reading though this forum I think it would but someone knows on here for sure.
