Are these Normal Operating Temps for an 85 FJ60 2F?

I thought that mine was overheating but after using an infrared temp gun it just turned out that my gauge was incredibly sensitive. These were taken with the temperature gauge in a similar position to where yours is in that first picture. I was worried at first but soon found that the factory...

The best set up I found were the Hella housings. And these LED bulbs. Hikari 2022 HyperStar H4/9003... HELLA 002395801 Vision Plus 165mm 12V High/Low Beam Halogen Conversion Headlamp Kit (H4 ECE) https://a.co/9jWvtoS The light output was very good and considerably better than the Toyota...

SOLD Bend Oregon and Seattle WA - Land Shark Reef 40” drawer set up.

Nope, I liked using the sides for storage and felt like those wings, while super cool looking… only allowed smaller items to be stored in the wing compartments. However you could add them if you want.

SOLD  Bend Oregon and Seattle WA - Land Shark Reef 40” drawer set up.

I sold my beloved 60 series Falcor and the new owner didn’t want these kickass drawers so hopefully someone here does. $700. Here are some pics. I have a few of the baleen separators here in Seattle but the drawers are in Bend. I used this stuff to finish them and I’ll give you this plus...

What is a good outdoor watch?

Well, Falcor will be enjoying some sunshine in Florida here pretty soon. His new owner is awesome and will be taking Falcor on some wonderful East Coast adventures. Very conflicted/sad to let it go but for every door that closes, more open down the road. So long friend. You’ve been a hell of...

    Builds "Scout" the 1977 FJ40

If you feel your rig is sitting too high, it might not be a bad idea to simply start with the shackles. I mean you're going to end up replacing them at somepoint and not only will it give you a great starting point but often times it's 40% of the work when replacing springs, so putting new...

    Builds "Scout" the 1977 FJ40

Thanks so much! Great question, I didn't put them on but I believe they are the older OME anti-inversion shackles. That's a mouthful. I believe they are the older ones with the flat spot that prevents them from inverting because the ones I tend to see now have the pin rather than the flat...

SOLD Seattle WA / Bend OR, 1984 Toyota FJ60

For sure, I am in the process of rebuilding the rear cargo panel and touching up any dings. :) I doubt I'll fix the seat as the tear is tiny but I put a huge patch on to give it the most support. I think the new base cushions I put in will also prevent it from getting larger. Dang those seats...
