So my stock alternator is dying and producing erratic high AMPs as well as blowing external voltage regulators. I’m planning to add a Vintage Air AC system and need at least a 60 amp alternator, preferably one with an internal voltage regulator and one that bolts right in. Does this even exist?
Anyone have the JT Outfitters disc conversion kit on their 40? How has it performed and will it fit stock Toyota welded 15 inch wheels? I have riveted 15 inch wheels now and buying newer welded wheels .
I’m lifting my 2003 Tacoma Prerunner with a rough country 6inch lift. Do I need to change my leaf springs or can I keep the stock ones? I’ve heard that people have problems with their steering stem being too short after the lift. Anyone encounter this?
Leaks, leaks, and more leaks! Anyone had a similar leak on their 40? What could it be? I’m hoping the oil pan? This thing has more leaks than a 90 year old with colitis.
For the life of me I can’t figure out how to get the motor out of its housing on this old WARN winch. Secondly the motor is full of grease/oil. I’m assuming the motor should be dry? The round plate on the top is being held in by the assembly at the top of the spindle. No idea how to take it off...
This may be a noob question but where are you guys getting power for your light bars and accessories? I wanted to connect to my fuse box but our fuse boxes are not exactly friendly to piggy backing off for power by added an “add a fuse” any tips or recommendations ?

Once my FJ40 has been run and warms up and then I stop somewhere. It takes a while hell of a lot of cranking the starter to get it going again. What could that be? Anyone have anything similar happen?
