2010 Tundra Crewmax / Floor Mats

John, I really like the carpeted mats made by Catch all. They do a great job in my Cruiser. Carpeted, but can hose off mud and debris.

05 Sequoia vs 97 Land Cruiser

I had a 99 Landcruiser that I drove to 200k, sold it and took my wife's 03 Sequoia. I cannot comment on the 97 cruiser, but I can give you over 90k worth on the Sequoia. Good truck overall. Mileage is a bit better than the cruiser. Check the ball joints as mine were covered under recall, but...

Turn off traction control/vsc on 03 Sequoia in high range

I use my truck to hunt and need to cross muddy fields at a fairly good clip to "stay on top". Any way to turn off all of the traction/VSC without going to low range? Thanks, Fishin

TUNDRA, helper springs or air bags...

Prior to coming over to toyota, I used to run HD pickups from Ford and Dodge. My Ford had overloads that gave it a smooth (not really) ride unloaded, but would allow me to put 5,000 lbs plus in the back or a 20,000 pound trailer. My Dodge had airbags. Much better ride all the way around...

    Dust...where is coming from?

There should be some body vents in the back of the truck. I know that if you are running the A/C (both Front and Rear) on high speed and all of the doors are closed and windows rolled up, you can hear the air coming out of vents by the rear windows. I am wondering if the flapper is not...

    May sell the 100

Due to my new house finally being finished, I think that it may be time to sell the Cruiser. It is a 99 with 115,000 miles. All maintenance has been done, except the timing belt. My mech. says not to do it till 150,000. In fact it has a new starter, serp belt, front brakes, antenna...

    Just Got Good MPG

Mileage I routinely average about 15.5 in mixed driving. I pulled a car hauler loaded with decorative cast cement stones yesterday. I was pulling right at 6,000 pounds across the state of MO from Joplin to St. Louis. I pulled it between 60 and 70 and averaged 10 mpg. All in all not too bad...

    98 - 2000 100 owners - Is your Transmission Original or Replaced?

BFG A/T or Bridgestone A/T Revo

I got a quote yesterday from Sam's Club for four BFG A/T's in 275/70/16. Mounted and balanced, out the door for $807.33. I think that is the way that I am going to go. Thank you for all of your input. Regards, Brett (Fishin)

BFG A/T or Bridgestone A/T Revo

EdsCruisin, where did you buy your Revo's? Are you happy with them off road? Thanks, Brett

BFG A/T or Bridgestone A/T Revo

My truck is a 99. I was quoted $1,000 for the Revos and $1,100 for the BFG's by a local dealer. I will check Sam's. The cost difference doesn't seem like much, but $1,000 for tires and an alignment seems high. Thank you for all of your input. Brett

BFG A/T or Bridgestone A/T Revo

Almost time for a new set of tires and I am conflicted. I need your help. My wife's Sequoia has the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos on it. Nice tires. They are wearing well and seem to be great on dry pavement and on rainslicked roads. My LC has the Michelin LTX M/S on it and they are...

    Trailer light problem

My 99 had a blown unit (I do not know what it is called) somewhere between the plug and the fuse box. My local trailer shop fixed it for me for around $30. I also moved my plug in from under the truck to a position between the hitch and the spare tire, pointing down. This way I will not drag...

    Downshift--Firm and/or Clunk

I am occasionally getting a firm downshift, when coming to a stop or when I am coasting to a stop and the light turns green and I hit the gas again. It almost feels as if there is a little bit of play in the drivetrain. Anyone ever had this happen to them? Thanks, Brett

    Warning tags inside cabin

LX470Pilot-- I carefully pulled mine off and wiped (scrubbed) the residue off with WD-40 and Goo Gone. It took about ten minutes, and I did it when it was warm 70-80 degrees. No warmer. Brett

    Timing Belt Replacement Questions

Thank you to everyone for the good info. Kitkraft, how many miles do you have now? Is it still running well? How is your interior holding up (seats, steering wheel cover, etc.)? Thanks again, Brett

    Timing Belt Replacement Questions

I change my oil every 5K and all of my other fluids every 30K. I am very good about routine maintenance. Never having dealt with a timing belt simply had me questioning whether the car needed it, or whether the dealer network needed it done to make their mortgage payment. What do you think...

    Timing Belt Replacement Questions

Okay, okay. You guys are like talking to a heart doctor and weighing 500 pounds... What should I expect to pay my dealer to do the 90K service with timing belt, water pump and starter? I also thought that I may as well do my transmission and transfer case fluid and filters, as well as the...

    Timing Belt Replacement Questions

I am at 83,000 miles on my 99 100. For some reason, I am really worked up about the 90K scheduled service which includes the timing belt and water pump. I am a by the book maintenance guy, but have never owned a vehicle that had a timing belt that needed to be replaced. I have a few questions...

    St. Louis, MO Cruiser Mechanic

I am looking for a cruiser mechanic to do the 90,000 mile service on my 1999 100. Right now the only option that I have is the dealer. My concern is that I do not want to take my truck to some goofball with a toolbox to let him test his knowledge on my truck. I want to be sure that whoever...
