This was the easiest lift I have ever installed, two of us spent less than 2 hours to finish. We took our time and installed it correctly. Coilovers are just easier. I even removed the front sway bar assembly to give myself a little extra room. Now that the lift is installed I am very happy...
Welcome to the family. I purchased my FJ in September of 08 7800 miles on the Odo now loving it! I almost bought the sandstorm color that is a good choice in my opinion. Do you plan on lifting or modifying your truck?
I recently installed a Daystar comfort ride lift kit on my FJ. Easy install and finished in under 2 hours. I purchased the kit from Man-a-fre and am very happy so far with the results, more clearance, and I was able to keep those sweet Bilstein shocks in place. I would be happy to answer any...
Hey Wings! I live in Park City and have a similar FJ. I am new to the FJ world but have been wheeling cruisers for 12 years now. We should meet up, I have a shop in Heber where a few of do us do all our builds and mods, lots of cruisers to play with. Besides my new FJ has less than 3000...
I just mounted a set on my BJ 42, I have not had the chance to run them off road yet but so far so good, great on the road. they are super bad-ass looking and little road noise.
I am thinking about adding an intercooler to my 3B turbo set up. Anyone have an idea of a good size to consider or the formula for proper size for a 3B motor?
Right on, I just went and grabbed the package, exactly as you described. Good stuff, now I just have to find the time to replace mine. There is a lot of parts in the way, but I love working on these trucks.
Thanks for the quick response.

Lynchmob thanks for this post, most useful. I do have a question though after reading it. When you install new diaphragm do you have to lube it with something? I remeber reading somethng about Neet's foot oil, or something like that, being leather it must need something, or maybe I am way off...
That is exactly what I did. Having a friend to help is a must here. I used a very large adjustable wrench and sorta bent the metal shock boot flat so I could hold onto it better, then my friend held the nut in place with an open ended wrench. Good news you do not have to disconnect the sway...
I am also self employed so no tax returns for me either. Likwise though my LLC owns my Cruiser F**k the IRS! Anyway bak to the important stuff. So you installed the rear bumper in 30 minutes, was this including removing the plastic stock bumper cover and bumperette? I should see my bumper on...
I got an email today from Slee. My bumper has been shipped, w/ the tire carrier and a diff drop kit. I hope it arrives by Friday, not working and planning to install it then. I will post pictures.

I printed off a couple of OME install threads and used them as a reference. However, I can tell you that the Torsion bars are a B***h to install. Mine were bery hard to turn so a recomendation to you is over the next couple of nights spray some kind of PB blaster, WD-40 typr crap all over the...
I recently installed a OME heavy suspension lift on my 100. What a difference in ride quality, no more body roll around curves. I am waiting on a Slee bumper to install this weekend. I will post pics when done.Cheers, cruisediesel
