LHD. It feels like you are driving an old tractor down the road. The steering box moves instantly but it seems like there are too many joints and they all add up to delayed steering response. That is why I am thinking about converting it.

I have an 81 hj47 diesel. I put all new steering components on my truck including a rebuilt steering box. I still feel the steering has too much slop. Do I need to convert the steering and if so how should I go about it. I do not have power steering.

I recently purchased 1981 hj47 diesel 4 speed and would like some opinions on its value. Mileage unknown. Diesel runs well. Newer transmission and t case. Paint is lower quality ( looks good unless u get close) bed is Alittle rough.
