    Oh Crap...Using Oil..Bad Clutch..Leaking from Main Seal..ETC.

The fuel pump is the least of my concerns at this point. I bought the truck. I'm driving it until the wasps inside regroup and try to kill me. It'll be shame to part out the interior...Its in good shape. Its too much of a beast to keep. FJ60's, as you all know, are the perfect size. Thanks for...

    Oh Crap...Using Oil..Bad Clutch..Leaking from Main Seal..ETC.

My cruiser is tired (CA 84 FJ60)...My Boss has a 1985 GMC suburban 6.2L that is pristine inside and a rustbucket outside. Diesel swap? I think I found the donor rig. 1,000 bucks for the suburban. Its a 3/4 ton 4x4 with a turbo 400. It has a banks stinger system. WTF does it take to add the...

    Jerking

it just pops off. twist it back and forth a bit first, then pop it off. I blew out the filter with air, but it made no difference in the hesitation I had. Unplugging it from the EGR valve from the port near to the carb and plugging the hole was the only thing that made a difference in the...

    OME Springs..install...Re-use rear "pads"

I got off the phone with Mudrak and he said he always reuses both the top and bottom. I just stuck the top half in. He said it keeps your rear axel in alignment. I don't think the bottom would be that critical, but he told me to put it back in so I'll do it later...maybe.

    Jerking

my smog pump clicks on my fj60. I plugged the egr modulator with a screw and that fixed my little jerking problem. I hate to snag your post but...What the heck do you clean the filter in Modulator with?

    OME Springs..install...Re-use rear "pads"

Thats what i was thinking, I was going to just use the "collar." But, mine are pretty clean so I may as well just stick them in there. I threw it together without them, but I think I'll put them in the morning. I drove it that way to the store for beer. Ha Ha

    OME Springs..install...Re-use rear "pads"

When installing the rear OME springs, do you re-use the stock rubber upper and lower pads that sit between the lower plate (the one the shock bolts to) and between the axel and spring? You know what I mean? these...

    Another OME Leaning

The taller springs go on the DS. Put them side by side, concave down. Its obvious when they are next to each other. The taller one is an "A" the shorter one is a "B." I just put 4 used OME springs on my 60 and thats how I differentiated between them. It sat a little bit taller on the DS for a...

    vespa scooters

I just sold a 66 VSC (180cc supersport; 65 MPH) and a 59 VBA (your basic 150cc). Where were you about 6 months ago? My advice to you: Don't buy one from a Vietnamese outfit They are ALL RUSTY JUNK!. If you do, buy one from ScootRS.com at least they try to address the rust properly.

    Mystery Hose...Hmmmm

Ahemmm....Update... Apparently the cap I have belongs on a FJ62. For those of you that are curious. The firewall hose supplies air from the cab to the dist. to dissapate any fumes that my cause it to implode/explode. I guess the FJ62 doesn't require this. Thanks to Gary at Mudrak for the info...
