Is there anyone in the Denver area that can help me out? I don’t have $400+ for a Safari and I understand it needs some modifications to mount with the antenna. I bought it for my wife for Christmas and I’m sure I could make it work. I’ve had 4 strokes this year and getting out of bed is an...
Had one of my Volvo techs put new upper control arms in my 05 LX, he didn’t note the position of the front sensor heim in the slotted boss on the old arm prior to removal. He placed the sensor all the way at the bottom of the slot on the new arms, which locked out the high setting and rode like...
Looking for a straight door, preferably white. Wife’s car got hit while parked on the street, and now the LF door has a huge dent. In Denver, let me know what you have.
Wondering where everyone thinks the 2UZ falls when reflecting on the storied history of Toyota engines. I was pondering this earlier today as I was ordering some parts and thought it would be an interesting topic to discuss. When I first purchased my LX it was a fourth vehicle that I bought...
Hey everybody,
Getting heavy into PM on my wife’s 2005 LX470 and I have discovered what appears to be a long abandoned nest under the lower intake manifold. I put a set of 8 coils in the other night and noticed this, now I’m going to get in there and clean it out. I purchased both upper and...
Has anyone ever added an auxiliary electronic parking brake caliper to a Ford 9" rear end? I'm trying to avoid going with a Wilwood mechanical setup and my rotors do not have provisions for an internal shoe configuration. I could go line lock but am wondering if anyone has ever gone the EPB...
Hey folks,
I've been in a 60 of some fashion for the past 10 years or so, lately I've been craving an 80 series for light off road and adverse weather duty for the wife. I've come across a 97 Sage Collector's Edition with low miles (under 125K), very clean interior, nice paint, a few very...
[CO]- 1st Gen Taco spacer lift
Everything pictured is included, used for less than a year prior to going full OME. Spacers are All Pro 2 inch, blocks are steel (rather than aluminum) and were purchased at 4 Wheel Parts, shocks are stock height KYB Monomax. One would only need rear shocks, U...
Was a front unit in an '86 60 series from Texas, no known issues, never noisy. Local pickup is preferred, but if there's no action shipping options could be explored. $80 OBO
Thanks,
Brad
I have a 1983 Root Beer Brown FJ60 that needs to go, it has many good useful parts. The body is just south of terrible, the frame was fairly solid last I checked, glass is all good, axles, driveshafts, diffs, T-Case, longblock, and transmission are all good. The vehicle has a set of 32X11.50...
I'm wondering if anyone who's had fitment issues with the stainless cooler pipes recalls how much material had to be cut off in order to provide a good fit. I'm sure I can figure this out via trial and error but would like some frame of reference if possible. Thanks for any help.

I purchased this 2F head as a freshly rebuilt, shaved unit and upon "teardown" of the long block it came on, realized it had a substantial crack in the combustion area between the valves. I don't know if it's worth pinning, what do you think?
Thanks,
Brad
Hi there, I have been attempting to use the "search" function to track down the proper head bolt tightening sequence and torque values for said bolts with no luck. I was going to purchase an FSM from Craigslist but it was no longer available, so I'm hoping some kind soul on this forum can help...
I will soon be ripping apart my second 2F in less than 2 years and was wondering if anyone could recommend a supplier for rings, valves (possibly SS), valve springs, and all appropriate seals/gaskets. I have checked Specter, seems a touch steep.
Thanks,
Brad
Hey, I'm listing this for a friend and will try to answer any questions via PM or replies within this thread. The vehicle is an '85 FJ60 that is daily driven and recently passed CO emissions test. Vehicle has around 260K, solid rear hatch/tailgate, and both the alternator and starter were...
I'm in search of front and rear diffs (4.11- 4.88) for my 86 '60. I would prefer either open diffs or non-selectable lockers in one or both carriers. Let me know what you've got.... located in Denver
Thanks
