Hi All,
Posted this a while ago, then sold my MH - and never got a good answer anyway. Well we got a new MH and now this question has popped into my head again.
I have experience flat towing automatic Jeeps, just put it in park and transfer case in N. I am assuming that since the KZJ78 has...
Well I was successful in replacing the head on my 1994 KZJ78W with an aftermarket AMC head. She was shooting bubbles into the expansion tank and when you removed the line in the tank, there was white vapor that smelt like diesel. Just wanted to brag and share some pictures ;). Bonus, if...
Hey all - getting active again. I sold my last KZJ78 a couple years ago and just picked up a 1994 KZJ78W with about 200KM on the odometer.
To my surprise when I got it fresh from customs it had no coolant, which I thought was weird - and a bad sign. Long story short I fill the radiator and...
Aside from drilling new holes a bit higher on the factory mount, is there an aftermarket solution? I know you can buy adapters for Jeep spare tire carriers which lift them up about 3 or so inches to make room for bigger tires. Anything for the 78 series prado that is similar?? I've searched...

Question... What is the size of the exit at the turbo. Thinking about making my own turbo-back exhaust and was curious what the opening size is?
Thanks
Anyone have an owners manual or shop manual for the KZJ78 Prado? I found some specific manuals for the 1kzte engine, which are great, but if there any owners manuals or service manuals for the whole rig that would be swell.
Thanks
Hey guys,
Just got my new to me 93 KZJ78G. It had it's timing belt replaced recently but I cannot get the light to go off. I removed the grommet on the cluster and poked the little thing that I think is the reset button, but it will not go out. I did this with the ignition in the on...
Does anyone have a diagram for the above vehicle's winch controller? Picking up the vehicle tomorrow and it does not have a controller. Looking at wiring in one that does not cost 4 - 600 dollars...
Thanks
