    Plasma table

Sweet! I’ve got a buddy who’s done lots of CNC stuff. He was asking me what software you’d be using. I wasn’t sure if that’s something you wanted help with too, or if you’re only after hands for assembly? He said that if you could tell him about the programming side, it would streamline...

    2022 Mud and Snow Run?

Second all sentiments but one. Actually, OEMs are still available. I got mine from Wits End this past summer. Looks like they’re currently back ordered through Joey (is this the shortage you were referring to?): https://absolute-wits-end.com/fusible-link-for-80-series-land-cruiser/ Here’s...

Yep, found it in the email, copied here for anyone else who’s confused: Directions: North on 101 Take Hwy 20 East towards Clear Lake. Turn off to the left towards Potter Valley. Turn right on Eel River Rd (signs say Lake Pillsbury & there's a little store and bar there on the corner) Go over...

Hi all - please forgive me if I’ve missed it somewhere, but I don’t know where “the airstrip” is. Any GPS inputs or a more official name I can search for? Thanks! Andrew

    Steering shaft seal replacement

Now I remember - there’s a groove in the shaft it fits into - put the tapered bolt in BEFORE you make up the rag joint bolts, it’s easy then. Just had to rage post before I could figure it out, lol

    Steering shaft seal replacement

Grrr - stuck on this. All reassembled, but the last bolt, that needs to grab the threaded receiver and lock into the steering shaft knurls is ***t. Can’t get it to take and I’ve stripped the bolt end trying. I think I had this same problem with the similar joint in the other side of the...

Rear Heavy Duty Swaybar owners got links that last?

Thanks Jason - thought occurred to me as well - if the one I finally got to take in that spot fails, I can weld a bead around it / close it in some, re-drill, and try again. As with most of my projects, took way longer than expected. I got aggravated and shoulda taken a break, had a snack and...

    2021 Mud ‘N Snow run?

Alas, I will not be joining the run tomorrow. Going over the rig last night I decided to try and troubleshoot my rear locker. In doing so, I pushed the rubber gasket seal at the third member inside. A couple hours with a pick set and needle nose pliers later, I was convinced pulling the third...

    2021 Mud ‘N Snow run?

I'm in! 3rd year in the club and first club run. Will see you all there! What kind of level of difficulty is this trip considered? Would love to bring my two boys, but I generally leave them home for more difficult trips (Rubiconish). They’re still a little small for all that bouncing (6...

Will there be group / guided runs as part of this event, or is it each rig to their own?

Please Help! - Can't shift into low range after crawler gear install

I just finished this upgrade, but I’be got a problem. CDL indicator light is not coming on. I checked the plugs and all’s good, I hear the in cab relay click and the actuator motor whir when I press it. I think I messed up the actuator / shift fork interface (I hadn’t read the FSM and I think...
