The LC used at least 2 different filters. 1 big(tg8 fram sized) and one smaller.
There's hundreds of pages arguing about filters, Stay away from the ghetto cheap ones and you should be good.
You want to go out and buy this, and bleed the brakes yourself.

For future reference, if you plan on breaking down the engine entirely, just spend the $$$ on the full gasket kit, it costs more, but you can't buy more time.

Hazzard switch works just as well as the CDL switch and is 1/5th the price. You may need to trim the plug slightly to get it to work, my 92 didn't my 96 did. It's obvious what needs to be done when you try to plug it in.
Does the master cylender have a front/rear output on it? Just run a new line back and bypass all the old rusted ones.
You guys make brake work seem a lot harder than it is...
When putting an 80 winch on an 80 it just slides over the frame rails and bolts on with 10 m12 1.25 bolts.
My 96 had all of the weld nuts in the frame and was easy enough to install
Upper oil pan looks salvagable at least. Just need to get the cog off the crank then start building the other engine.

I think most upgrades/hid are not legal, but nobody cares or enforces it.
Laws are pretty fragmented to.
IIRC in WI I can add as many high beam lights as I want as long as they're +- 12in in height from the stock ones.
