    Blue exhaust smoke on overrun

A bit of an update...... Cleaned out PCV and drained a little oil from sump( was a bit overfilled) and the problem has become significantly better. Still there though.

    Blue exhaust smoke on overrun

My engine doesnt burn a lot of oil. Maybe half a litre of mobil 1 in 7500km. Just have the deceleration blue smoke issue. I do a lot of highway driving running around 130km/h. Will check PCV this weekend and see if anything changes.

    Blue exhaust smoke on overrun

Yes the seals where replaced, along with every wear item on this motor, except the guides. Hence my frustration here. Surely though after 25 000 km, the rings should have seated by now? Or does this motor need longer?

    Blue exhaust smoke on overrun

Yes, overrun I mean coasting down a long hill or deceleration. Rings and pistons are brand new, from Toyota, and don't have any symptoms on acceleration and pulling 21-22 inches on vacuum gauge. Thank you, will stick a camera down the ports to check them

    Front axle rebuild needed?

I drove with mine like that for about 100 000 km until I eventually did it when installing the locker. No issues at all, just leaks.

    Working on a butchered carb

With regards to the nipples by the mixture screw. The single one is blocked off. Where there are two (one above the other) top nipple is vacuum advance and goes to dizzy the bottom one goes to charcoal canister

    1FZ engine building and blueprinting

Look into the carburetor 1fz head, when I pulled mine ( and like an idiot, forgot to take pics so cant reference back) the chambers looked like your gen2. This was to lower CR for bad fuel I suspect. And has a dizzy hole. Just block off hole for mech fuel pump.
