You know I love AHC and I know you do too, Classy! My opinion would be that $300 is a small price to pay to try and save such a brilliant system (obviously try do what you can to make sure that new globes are actually necessary first, which I think you are already doing). If the new globes don’t...
My dad is selling his really clean XJ on BaT right now. The first owner passed away 12 years ago and my dad bought it from the first owner's widow's estate about a year ago.
It is a NE truck but there is very little rust. I have done extensive maintenance under this XJ and it is definitely...
Keeping the inside clean is just about the easiest “maintenance” you can do on a car. I’d probably be more concerned about that than this level of rust.
As per the title, selling a set of 5x LX470 wheels with 4x center caps. Were used on my LX for about 20 years before swapping to Aussie-spec LC200 series 17s so they do show a fair amount of cosmetic wear. They were on the car for 20 years and 120k miles and they look like it.
Tires have been...
I could be wrong but I’m nearly certain that non-nav is the only thing from your list (non-nav, cloth interior, no sunroof) that was sold new in North America. Should be able to start importing 1998s this year but you’re probably looking at over $15k.
Not sure what the white plug or extra bulbs are for (bulbs may not be factory?) but the black plug is for your axle diff locker switch.
If you have techstream, plug it in to see if you can control your mirrors from the computer. If you can then the problem is the switch, not the mirrors. In...
I made my own wooden platform and protected it with Spar Varnish. Allowed the natural beauty of the wood to shine through while affording it protection sufficient for the masts of wooden sailboats. Your platform looks like it is made with really nice quality wood — I personally would not want to...
I am decently certain that the antenna is just for AM radio. FM antenna is built into the passenger rear quarter window glass. I removed my front antenna and unplugged the motor so it would stop trying to raise and lower itself (plug is behind the glove box) and could still listen to FM radio...
Nokian tires are great in winter. I swear by them. Most of the recent sets I’ve had have been made in Russia (factory is just over the Finnish border near St. Petersburg). Apparently they have opened a third factory in Ohio but I have yet to see any tires from there.
265/75R16 will definitely...
I’ll echo what others have said above, the heat from my 100 was extremely strong. Would heat the car from cold in about 5 minutes flat, even during Wisconsin winters.
I believe the rear upper vents are for cooling only. Rear heat comes from the footwells.
If you want cheap tires your best bet might be to go smaller. Skinnier tires will deliver better traction in winter conditions anyway. Here is one in 245/75r16 for $132 each...
There is nothing “super” about super synthetic. Actually it is a lower grade oil than regular M1 full synthetic. “Super” is their lowest spec full synthetic oil.
