Be careful about this one... I took my truck to the local exhaust shop and they wanted $325 to install just the headers. "Standard rate." These were just hooker blockhuggers for a V-8 too. If you can do it yourself, do it!
OK, had some free time on the weekend to look at it.
Replaced with a brand new starter hooked back up..... still didn't work!
Replaced ground wire and hot wire to solenoid..... nothing!
All of this stems from when I stalled on the freeway about a week ago. I have no idea why it would cut...
Update:
Removed starter, cleaned it up a little bit. Took the ground wire completely off the vehicle and inspected it, then cleaned up the contact points. Reinstalled everything and turned the key... no help. There is a very loud click, but nothing else. Wire to solenoid had a good...

I was on the freeway and she stalled... started up fine about 5 minutes later. Drove another ten minutes, stopped, and tried to start again. Wouldn't start, but was able to get going with a push and drove...
I think that looks like a good deal too, if you can get it for $2k like you mentioned. It might be worth $4k if the fab work on the v8 and PS is solid. Go for it!
fj-80 master cylinder and booster ASAP
I need to get a fj-80 brake master cyl and possibly the booster too as soon as I can. Would prefer non-ABS. Let me know what you got and what its worth to ya. located in Portland, OR. Thanks
I also run at 210 .... 350, toy 4spd. It never gets above that though, and I mob the s*** out of it. I don't have a fan shroud. I don't have a problem with this temperature
One last question before I dig in... Are any of you running without an inline proportioning valve (the Wilwood knob type)? I have heard that a change can be made to the master cylinder, but others have said that it is absolutely necessary to run one of these. I have a 1st generation 4-runner...
