Factory roof rack
Hi all! Been a while, but have an opportunity to get a factory roof rack for my 1995. PO removed it and sealed with silicone and plastic caps. Can I just clean that silicone out and put the potentially new to me rack in the original place? Will clean up the surface rust and seal prior to install.- foejuice

Electrical issue

Low range won't engage
I'm hoping to get my first LC soon. I test-drove a '95 with 155k miles today and attempted to test out the low range. Stopped (on a low traction surface of course), put it in park, wouldn't engage low. ABS light and center diff light came on in the dash (for a short time), but it just rolled...- foejuice

craigslist 2000 Land Cruiser in AZ
It's not mine, but I went and looked at it. It spent the first 14 years of its life in Illinois, so it has some rust. The frame, muffler, floor, rocker panels all looked solid, but there was rust on the fenders behind all 4 wheels and where the floor/body connect. Wasn't for me, but the price...- foejuice
