The wife and I stopped at a grocery store in Butte recently. To their credit is was saint patrick's day weekend. That said, No, I absolutely would not buy a house in Butte. It reminds me of the Detroit suburbs, but not Bloomfield Hills or Birmingham; more like Delray or Inkster. It looks like a...
Goblin Valley State Park really is a gem. The caves are neat. I only explored the smaller one when I was there. Next time I'll bring my climbing gear to get (safely) into the larger one.
(I'm sure you can get in and out of the larger cave without gear, but that's a stupid risk to take in such...
I see that you tagged Stephen, but I'm going to tag him a second time. @bagochips76 Since he found out about last years event when I told him about it at Costco the day after.

Well...My fun budget got slashed when I my insurance didn't cover a surgery. I'm saving my pennies again and I think I'm going to end up with a pair of Grizzly lockers.
We just ordered a new SXS with tracks to access some of the remote tower sites during the winter. I just keep thinking that if it gets stuck I'm going to have to call SAR to get me out.
I believe it is sold at the scrap price. My experience has been that they are quite generous about the pricing though. (ie: 32" piece was "measured" as 24" when calculating the weight)
For my planning purposes, are the folks taking 40s down planning to drive or trailer? Mine is capable of achieving and maintaining highway speeds, but it is definitely physically taxing to drive it on the highway for long distances.
