My 2018 LX570 is doing a noticeable lean.
In both the Low and Normal suspension settings (didn't test the High setting) the driver's side (front and back) are lower than the passenger side. I took measurements from the floor to the top of the wheel wells at all four corners and found that...
My invoice from the Lexus dealer shows this part number/description: "PT908-60180-20/LX Cargo Mat". List price was $175.00. Dealer did not have the mat on hand and took a couple days to order it.
I bought the Lexus brand all weather cargo mat from my Lexus dealer. I am pleasantly surprised at the fit of the mat...fits lit a glove. It is not as tough or rigid as my Husky liners up front, but it should serve me well in terms of keeping messes away from the carpet in the rear. Still wish...
I'm buying the Lexus cargo mat for two row seat LX's. Disappointed that Husky doesn't make one...my front row Husky mats fit and durability are outstanding.
Call them. I know that Toyota dealers will work on Lexus vehicles. But I suppose the question is whether a Lexus dealer can avail themselves of the needed Toyota parts and be compensated by the factory for performing this recall work.
I am quoting myself here as it was the original point to this whole thread...the Enform says "open recall" for months and then sudenly says, "no open recall".
After pointing this out to Lexus Customer Service last month and being told that they'd reset my vehicle's Enform System's notification...
HAHA. This is EXACTLY what I did...I was anticipating a tank of gas based on what someone else here reported so I went in on fumes. IMHO, it was the very least they could do.
My recall was completed this morning in a little over an hour. Car wash and a tank of gas for my troubles and I was out the door by 10:00AM. For me, this case is closed....though for the life of me I can't believe how badly Toyota has handled this. I'd love an inside look at WHY.
I've been using Hennessey Lexus of Gwinett for years. Seem good to me.
I've used Hennessy Lexus of Gwinett for years and have had good experiences with them (notwithstanding this ridiculous recall experience, which I attribute to Toyota, not the dealer). That's where I'm going for my recall.
Thanks for sharing this. I'll call dealer on Monday. I did notice that this shows a different "Recall #" than mine...however this being a Toyota and mine being a Lexus may account for this. They do share the same NHTSA number so it seems as though these are the same recall.
