Reviving an old thread. My truck started throwing this code as well. Might be in my head but it seems related to temperature. It typically does not come on in the morning but will come on after sitting in the parking lot.

My passenger mirror does the same thing. It doesn't tilt all the way down and it doesn't return to the correct position. It seems to work fine manually though. I had to turn off this feature because of this issue.
Good info. Mine does this in carwashes from the blow driers. I think the previous owner ran something over on the hood at some point since it is a bit wavy

That's great to hear. I was wondering how they would hold up in time. The installer said he was surprised by the quality of the materials. I will say I did noticed a stitch or two slightly out of place, but its hard to complain for the price.
