Those Blue top Optima's are nice. I had one in the truck same as Drew here, but kept getting this power drain (posted sometime back) my boy had flipped my high/low beam Hella switch and that left my relay on 24/7, also had my CB booster running. By the time I realized what it was, it had...
So what is the problem with the bumpers (ARB, Kaymare) doing a 1" body lift?
They are fastened to the frame. I too have pondered doing this. When I went to a 3" exhaust I found that it is 3" until it has to go over the frame, they reduced it there to 2 1/2 and flattened it some (as the...
I guess, maybe then, I could be in trouble..
I have already wrapped my exhaust from the manifold to the CAT and I have the blanket over the turbo. Been running like that about a year now. Other then the fact that my check engine light comes on (darn inefficient cat code) I have not had any...
I think you are lucky looking at that picture. Looks like another roll or two and you would have been rolling miles.... Long way down to the bottom of that hill.

The stock speakers...LOL. Compare the sound of before to any replacement. Also, a speaker is suppose to move air to create sound, a cone pointing out is not going to move much air... The stock speakers :ban:

Alright Christo, now you went and did it. How does that go? It don't mean :flipoff2: without some pics!!
Christo, please make available pics of the two different types of air flower meters. Here or on your site would be good.
Thanks,
Yomama
Sorry it took me so long to respond....I didn't hear you callin :bounce:
Anyway, you can go out to my website at yomama I can't recall the exact link. You can find it.
I have my cruiser setup with OEM heavy springs, no air bags (yet) thinking about it, cause she does bottom sometimes...
Since you say there is spark, then perhaps the fuel shutoff? I am not sure where it is, but I am relatively sure there is one (Cdan?). Check ALL your fuses, under the dash and under the hood.

Wileetoyota - I would bet I pull more then most do with thier cruiser. I have a big boat and I would have to guess between the boat/trailer/fuel etc. that I am pulling at least 7000lbs. 9000? No way - I am turboed, power is not the issue. I do have brakes on the trailer as well, but I have...
The engine is running..... ;p Sorry, I couldn't resist that one....
Seriously, you could put a temp sensor under the hood like I have, it gives you an idea of how hot things are under there.
As for that pinging question, either higher octane (premium gas), meth like Cdan, or try and...
It could also be from messing with the air intake the way you say. For one the mass air flow might not be reading right now and causing a lean condition, also, now you are not drawing air from within the fender, but the hot air the engine puts out. Hot air is not good unless you are a balloon...
I have to laugh (LOL) everytime I read one of these "How does it rock climb?" If your cruiser, non-turboed and non supercharged can not crawl and runs out of power while in LOW Range, something is seriously wrong. Unless of course you want to bounce over the rocks as fast as you can, then by...
I think all is....Almost good. I think my juice problem is fixed.
I need to do more driving, but replacing the plug wires/plugs seems to have fixed my misfire.
Still have that odd noise near my feet.
I still need to look into the capacitor thing. Probably next weekend, for now, no...
Replaced both batteries with Red Top Optima's. I think my problem was two fold. 1. If my vehicle sat along time the battery would drain. My son likes to turn on switches and I found both a relay left on and also my CB boost was on, along with the usual stuff.
2. Because my battery would...
I thought of an interesting question :D The alt guage on the dash, does it tell you the condition of the battery OR does it show the charging state? Does that make sense?
If your battery is low would the alt meter show high (charging) or low (battery dying)?
I am still working on my...
