What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Gave a good wash after a 2,500 mile road trip to ID and WY with a few states and National Parks in between. Skied some good snow in Sun Valley and Jackson Hole.

Love the snorkel. Anyone have an idea on source? EDIT: Watched the video. It's a TJM.

    Dealer didn't replace AHC fluid?

That just sounds like they don't know and are throwing costs out that should *probably* cover the actual cost. Contractors do this all the time when they're busy. If you're either dumb enough or desperate enough to pay then they'll take on the job.

What was the reason for such a dark tint? To me it seems like a lot of work for a problem that was created but easily avoided.

Best Upgrades for Under $100 (200-Series)

What setting in techstream allows auto close/open with the door locks? I haven’t seen that option in the settings.

    Tire Pressure recommendation

My understanding is that when aired down tires don’t bulge out towards the side but rather longitudinally creating a longer contact patch. There could be additional strain on the sidewalls but not enough to create damage. A lot of trucks regularly air down and up with no consequences. You’re...

Remote and lock button not working

Read the update, thanks for the clarification. My guess is that the actuators, while working, may be sticking and causing the occasional issue.

Remote and lock button not working

Clarification question: the remote is not working for any buttons or just the lock button? Also, the unlock/lock button in the door handle isn’t working? Have you tried the second remote? Do all buttons work? If yes, then the issue wouldn’t be with the vehicle but likely the first remote.

Harness / Electrical connector. If I can later, I’ll see how many pins it has and the rough size to assist in the internet search.

    2016+ Rear Screen Removal

Sorry for the delayed response. I wouldn’t change/update the instructions. I have reinstalled and removed the screens a few times now. I did mark with permanent pen the outline of the new brackets and labeled the brackets once I had everything aligned to make reinstallation easier. It would be...

    2016+ Rear Screen Removal

It’s possible I’m sure to create a harness that only fed power to a USB port. I haven’t done that however. There is the 12v plug on the rear of the center console; I’d assume that would be easier to use.

    Rear Entertainment vs None

I don’t think you’ll miss it. I’ve taken my screens out because they interfere with rear-facing car seats. I did re-install for a road trip but took them out again when we were home. iPads work just as well, are less expensive to replace, and are portable.
