    Taking Care of Rust

I have a slight bit of rust on my 04 GX, nothing major, but would get worse if not treated as is with all of these vehicles. Wondering if I should go down the route of sanding it all down and using Por-15? Or, will a yearly application of Fluid Film do the job just fine? I don't mind what's on...

Well, the two really big ticket items are water pump / timing belt as well as the entire steering pump system replacement. All CV boots and all fluids swapped. All rotors and pads were serviced and the throttle body was serviced as well. Along with all of the other smaller ticket items. I took...

Since I have purchased, I have replaced both front wheel bearings, rear air suspension swapped for Bilsteins, and front...

2004 Lexus GX470 (Non-Nav) 234,000 Miles Ash Blue Mica $6,500 I bought this vehicle about 18 months ago with 222,000 miles. Just prior to my purchase, the previous owner put $7,500 worth of work into it prior to trading it in at a dealership. Since I purchased it I have done both front wheel...

    Shock Recommendation?

When I get around to doing the front I'll probably replace the rear coils with what you mentioned - just not ready to lift it yet.

    Shock Recommendation?

For anyone considering this in the future here is what I did for my rear air bag to coil conversion: - Moog 81081 coils (FJ coils) - Bilstein 5100 33-187174 shocks (4Runner shocks) - MetalTech Stage 1 kit - OEM coil spring insulator part #4830235040 The GX rides like a dream now - much better...

232k Miles and I think My Air Suspension Has Crapped Out

Would you happen to know if there's any easy fix here? Or reset? Or replacing the compressor would be the only fix?

    Shock Recommendation?

Awesome, thank you for this recommendation, I appreciate it! Is there a reason you wouldn't recommend using Moog springs? Specifically Moog 81081 for the rear (these are for the FJC)

Thank you! Any idea how I would fix this? I haven't tried unplugging the battery to reset it yet...maybe that could help?

232k Miles and I think My Air Suspension Has Crapped Out

I found one post saying to short the 9 and 13 pins on the dcp3 connector. I did that and got code 44, anyone know what this code represents?

232k Miles and I think My Air Suspension Has Crapped Out

I also cannot get the compressor to kick in - it worked well prior to yesterday morning. No when I hit high/low it blinks (and will stay on high) but the compressor never engages.

232k Miles and I think My Air Suspension Has Crapped Out

Everything worked perfectly prior to yesterday morning, no bag leak, no issues. Only to start the car and the whole thing was lowered and the bags do not inflate. I feel like either the compressor totally crapped out or it needs to be reset.

232k Miles and I think My Air Suspension Has Crapped Out

I would love to try the reset as the suspension worked 12 hours prior (the night before it died). However, I have a non-nav unit - do you know where I can find how to reset the air system?
