Thank you. I took the original to a place that restored guages and they pretty much took three old ones and made one that works. Wasn't cheap. About $300.
Hello. Have a quick question. I have a 1974 four speed in my '66 FJ45. I broke the plastic shift knob off the transfer case shifter the other day and wanted to turn down a piece of stainless round stock I have and I need to know what the threads on the four speed transfer case shifter are so I...
Some of you may remember the LV I posted on here and asked some questions about. I got quite a few PM's about it and was trying to sort out the title. As it stands, I took it down to the state patrol and they did their stolen vehicle inspection and gave me a form that says it's not in their...
I have a question. On the rear tailgate handle, it's chrome and has the word Toyopet. But there's a thick chrome plate that was screwed over the top of it so it wouldn't be visible. Is that normal? Factory?
Not too sure why it looks like it's doubling up pics. Here's the bad spots. Both hinges are completely rotted out on the tailgate and along the inside of the rocker panel on the rear passenger side floor. Also under the drivers feet but I can't get that pic to load.
We have about five months of snow here and hard pack snow and ice for most of that. I bought a set of Duratracs for my 3/4 hd Chevy and had them studded for my winter tires. They were ok in snow and not bad on icy roads but not great on either. I needed a new set of summer tires so I put a set...
A friend called and said he was moving out of the area and needed to get rid of his LV. I really don't need another project but let me know if anyone is interested in this. I don't have any idea what it's worth. He said the motor turns over pretty easy. Didn't have much spark when he tried to...
Master Blaster out off of Market did my street rod and did an excellent job. Spokane Sandblasting out on Trent did the bed, cab top, hood and wheels on my FJ45 and did a great job too. I think Spokane Sandblasting is probably a little cheaper. I think Master Blaster is who I'd use on something a...
Thank you. I live right near the Canadian border, so I just called a Lordco up there and they said they could order me one for about $200, but it would take two to three weeks. I was just back on the rock auto site and they have a rebuild kit including a new bearing for $22, so I think I'll get...
Not too sure if I should post this in the 40, 45 or 60 series forum but I'll try here since I know you guys a little better. I put a 1983 FJ60 Power steering setup in my 1966 FJ45 LPB. I put the running gear from a 1977 FJ40 (Canadian if it matters) including a good running 2F/4speed. I had to...
