    smog pump bracket holes....?????

    Looks like I found, through searching, one thread on there being a bushing for the back hole. I'm almost positive it wasn't there to begin with. It was an aftermarket smog pump so it had been changed before. Now I just need to locate a bushing...or possibly make one. Anyone have any sitting...

    High pressure Power Steering hose...

    Thanks Soggy60. I was thinking the nut went all the way in. I looked at the threads closer and could tell where the dirt started...about half way down. Snug it up and we are good to go. Thank you very much for your help. Now onto the smog pump!!!

    I am replacing my smog pump. Didn't pay much attention when I took it out....:frown: . Anyway, the front hole for the pivot bolt is the same size as the bolt...but the back hole is much larger. With the bolt in, the smog pump can kind of move all around. It's almost like the back hole was...

    Once it gets tight, I can't move the hose up or down. Does the hose get pushed down in first???? It doesn't look like the hole is even deep enough for the bolt to screw back in.

    Replaced power steering pump. Ended up taking the high pressure hose from the pump to the gear box out. Now I can't get it back into the gear box. Threads fine by hand until about half way in...then it just stops dead. The threads look fine and nothing seems to be in the hole. Can anyone...

    Does anyone know the torque specs for the 4 thermostat housing bolts on a 1983 2F? If you have the water pump specs I will take those also. Don't want to break them off after replacing thermostat, gaskets, and water pump. Thanks!
