Thank you foe the reply, I was hoping you would see this and answer. I figured that was the answer but wanted someone who had the experience to chime in.
I may have a line on a couple of 4L60E’s for my swap that may finally be in the making. The problem is they are 4wd, now I have to crack them open and rebuild one anyway, so I can just swap the output shaft to a 2wd and it will work with the AA adapter correct?
Really up to you, if you are going offroad on trails then a full size spare would make more sense. If you are just commuting or highway driving then a spare to get you back on the road heading towards a tire shop would probably be plenty.
Have them on my FJ62. I also made custom door cards and left the top metal exposed, very similarly to the aussie door cards. The armrests are comfortable, i would recommend them.
Do you have a build thread of this somewhere? I have some questions about your suspension setup but i dont want to hijack your for-sale ad. GLWS, this rig looks awesome.
What in particular is the question? That mounting plate that is currently on your wall will have to come off, and the new one (currently attached to the new smoke detector) will go on. It should just twist off.
