They are not out south, however I recently used Auto Glass and Tint in Merriam. Home | Auto Glass and Tint Shop - https://autoglassandtintshop.com/
They were well aware of the rivets and ordered them from Toyota.
Someone posted sleeving the brake lines with 3/8 inch fuel hose, so I tried that and it seems to work pretty well. It keeps the lines from rubbing against the U bolt. I put a small zip tie around the fuel hose to keep it a little tighter. My sliders have been on for a number of weeks and they...
I have had some good luck with SK Mechanic in Olathe. Ask for Mark, he has LC knowledge, not sure about the 200 series, but may be worth a look.
Good luck
Good morning, getting ready to install the MT sliders and noticed this hole along the bottom of the rocker panel. All of the other ones on each side have a plug. I assume I would want this plug before I install the slider.
Also, these two holes were at the bottom of the front quarter panel...
I ordered them a week ago and picked them up today from the shipping terminal in Kansas City. Hope to get them on this weekend.
I will also echo that Mark and his team at MT have been really helpful and responsive.
Definitely pricey to ship. The timing was good for me as I was getting ready to buy next month.
I did get a 10% discount when I ordered today, and hoping for an additional 5% if 19 more people use the code. The $100 credit back on shipping would be an added bonus.
According to Metal Tech, they have quite a few 100 sliders in stock so the first people to order will get them shipped. The more that order the bigger the refund at the end of the sale to everyone who participated.
Here is the info from their website:
Our website shows live inventory, priority...
I use SK Mechanic in Olathe and am pleased with their work. I actually found them on this forum last year. Mark is the point of contact over there and he has some Land Cruiser knowledge. Good luck
FWIW, March of this year, we bought ours for $19,400. 05 w/ 73,000 from Oklahoma. Single owner, very clean, no rust, and well maintained.
I had been looking for almost a year, so when it came up, I pulled the trigger. That price on the LX seems reasonable to me.
Thanks. It will be my DD at the end of the summer, and will keep things as is for bit. We try to get out to Colorado a couple of times a year, and we will drive this instead of our 06 4Runner. The tires are basically new, so when I get some new tires, I will remove the running boards then...
After looking for the better part of a year for a Land Cruiser, I came across a one owner 2005 with 72,500 on the odometer down in Oklahoma a couple of weeks ago. After a few phone calls to the seller, my wife and I made the three hour drive to check it out. The LC was very clean inside and...
