I wheeled it hard for the first time in Ocala, FL. Florida is pretty limited on spots, but this place has some nice obstacles.

I went through and greased everything and changed diff fluids in front, back, and center. Hopefully that will take care of it at least in the mean time. Haven't had an opportunity to get to speeds high enough to tell yet.

That was the first I noticed it, but I'm also very new with this truck. I THINK I've tracked the noise down to the center diff/transfer case.

Of course, Page Toyota's suggestion of a new sender and harness is the best solution. I went with the can I make it work in 15 mins solution. Only follow my path at your own peril.
I just bought my first cruiser, 96 FZJ80, dirt cheap because it was not showing any oil pressure. Noticed the wire hanging loose and took a chance.
I(for now) just jury-rigged it with a spliced in wire for <$1. It has worked the entire time I have owned the truck, but that is only about 1...
