For Sale  UZJ100 - Land Cruiser 100 Series 1999 OEM Alternator - Needs reconditioning

I just pulled this out of my 1999 100 series with ~265k miles. There were no screeches/etc. The symptom was that my battery light would occasionally come on and would then go off. I replaced the alternator and that fixed the problem. I figure someone may want to recondition this one and use...

I am somewhat stranded (at a rental house 8 hours away from home) and could use some real time help. Last night I went over a small bumo and heard a terrible sound coming from my driver's side front wheel. At first I thought it was the transfer case or differential, but thanks to this...

ARB Front Air Locker in 1999 100 series - Differential Rebuild Kit?

Hey all, I just today went to get a quote on the price to install a ARB air locker on my 1999 100 series. In addition to the installation cost, I was told I would need to rebuild the bearing and get a rebuild kit. Is this accurate? If so, can someone recommend a rebuild kit? Thanks

    MPG with larger tires: 285/75/16

I am curious as to what everyone's change in MPG was when they upsized to 285/75/16 tires on a stock Land Cruiser (ie without lift). Yes, I've used the search function. Thought it would be good to start a thread on this.

Would you add roof rack and bumpers to a 100-series with 240k miles?

Topic says it all... Trying to figure out it I should purchase a roof rack, front, and rear bumper for my new-to-me 100 series. It has 240,000 miles on it and has been well-maintained from what I can tell. The previous owner was a manager at a dealership's maintenance department and seems to...

Rear Driver's Side Passenger Door Won't Lock

Has anyone had this problem before? I just replaced the door actuator and now this door won't lock. Even when the latch is manually locked, the door opens with the handle. I checked to ensure the linkages are installed correctly and they are. Any ideas?
