    Nice Breakfast today. Good food, nice to visit. We had nearly identical twin Land Cruisers show up. Justin on two wheels, and Stephen showed up in his original Toyota Van with upgrades. A Unimog, too. Scout guarded the rigs, while the guys got some breakfast. I didn't get pics.

    On my 2010 GX460, there's a DAC, Downhill Assist Control, button. Tried it once on a loose , steep trail descent . This "feature" made the vehicle slide and loose traction. The antilock brake system kept kicking in and out, with the DAC engaged. Yikes, No thanks!!:censor: I can control my 4x4...

    LX 470 Total Electrical Failure

    My first guess is the alternator is bad. Especially if it is the original alternator. Being a 1998 LX 470, that alternator is getting pretty old. Hopefully that's the issue, but there could be a second issue, too. The LX may start shutting down electrical components in steps as the alternator...
