    Gas Mileage Question

    Ok, I took possession of the FJ in July. Since then I have been keeping track of the gas milage. I have gotten an average of 14 miles to the gallon. What the heck? Do you guys think something is wrong?:crybaby: I have a manual and I also use the FJ to drive to work in traffic everyday.

    I gave one of my bosses a ride to a meeting and she shut the front door first and then slammed the back door and nothing bad happened. I would have hated to have had to kill her. :mad:

    Just got my cute little model and I didn't order it. I did register online, guess they now pay attention to the people who register online. I just sent a picture of it to my husband in Iraq. I told him the little one is his and the big one is MINE. hhehee

    Thanks! I had my laptop bag in the front seat. I usually have it in the back. I guess that was the problem. It freaked me out. I had so much car trouble with my Cherokee before I traded it in for the FJ I just immediately thought I was about to explode!!! hehehe :eek: Have a great day!

    That is the thing... absolutely nothing was flashing. Originally I thought it was the seatbelt beeper, but if it was, the light did not come on.

    I was driving down the highway today and my FJ started beeping. It sounded like the seatbelt beep, but all seatbelts were buckled. It just kept beeping for about 3 min and then stopped. Has this happened to anyone else?

    I bought my FJ in Killeen, Texas back in June. Even after I ordered the thing they kept asking, "Are you sure you want a 6-speed?" Boys... sometimes they just don't understand REAL GIRLS!! :D

    Well mine is super clean and I am going to keep it that way for a while. I bought the FJ for my husband and he will be home from Iraq in December. After he has seen his pretty shiny FJ, then we can get it dirty. For the time being only the Jeep will be getting dirty.;p

    HEHEHE oops, calculation was wrong. There was still 5 gallons in the tank when I filled him up! I got 15mpg. That was my first tank of gas and I hope that it gets better. I am sure I wasted a lot of gas at first learning to drive the FJ Manual. It is much different than my Jeep. :whoops:

    Question: Why didn't the FJ come with a 4 WD emblem on the back? Everyone keeps saying to me, "That is nice, but you should have gotten 4 WD." I tell them it is and they laugh and say, "If it was it would say it". :confused:

    I didn't get a VIN number until the vehicle was unloaded from the boat. It was about 5 weeks before I got the VIN number and then I got the FJ 2 days later.
