Exercising the factory lockers on a rare patch of dirt in LA... right next to an LAX runway. One of the busiest airports on the planet. @midfat for the W.
😂
I appreciate you shooting your shot, but I'd rather keep them than risk being accused an avaricious parts hoarder for the price I'd charge for NLA ambers. :D
If I ever sell my 80, my OEM stash will all be listed for sale.
Gl in your search!
Dump the so called caster correction bushings as they don’t correct anything. Plates or much better, aftermarket control arms for a return to Toyota 80 caster in spec.
Thanks for sharing!
I bought both of my ‘97s here on mud both pretty much sight unseen. It’s not ez finding a well loved one because people tend to hang on to them. Even the low mileage bat ones will need ALL the maintenance getting on with a quarter century old rubbers, actuators, etc. then you run into the real...
True for any vehicle. Drag increases on an exponential curve the faster you choose to go go go. Drive the hwy 65 mph and you’ll probably net a good 2-3 mpg on your typical road trip v the socially acceptable 75 which keeps semis from passing you.

The insane vibration after truck had a chance to warm up made me suspect the worst like a busted axle. I even tried to hold the lever on the way back to the shop to burn...

I use clearplex (optically clear plastic) on all my cars including the 80. I nabbed one of the last oem windshields and immediately clearplexed it. Going 4 years strong now.
You need to reapply the clearplex film with new every 3-4 years depending on use. If you live in a rainy climate and you...
