    There’s not too much of a difference between the engines honestly, as they are nearly identical in size. Even the engine mounts are the same. So you’d be set to go.

    If anyone is still watching this thread, all is good with the rig. Had to set up a mail forwarding address and register in a different county. So if you know anyone that has a similar issue, let them know there are work arounds that don’t cost thousands! Thanks for all the advice!

    Yes. Unless the vehicle is pre-1976, which its emissions are waived. All others must test either once every year, twice a year for certain year models and once every three for newer vehicles.

    Unfortunately, it is on the title as a diesel. It was registered in Denver as a diesel and when I brought it down to the Springs is when I ran into this issue.

    The military variants were mechanical so they could still run with after an EMP event. Most military vehicles are in this class as the must run with minimum maintence while in the field.
