I’m still working on an action plan to move over there, so I won’t be able to meet up for a couple months at least. Would love to hear how this goes though!!!
Yeah Ryan at Yotaluma is awesome. He's also my neighbor. He's actually one of the guys who turned down the work though. The other one is Out West Garage, where Ryan used to work. I've heard good things about Yodaman as well, but thought their focus was mini trucks and Tacomas. Do they do Cruiser...
It’s funny you say that, because for some reason our best local Toyota shops don’t want to touch my cruiser. Maybe it is an anomaly to Petaluma, but I had the two most reputable shops in town turn down what I thought was a simple front brake job.
Check out this thread for some more recent feedback on Mudrak.

Even since my post, I’ve had even more issues with the work they did. Both front calipers failed within a year, one to the point of leaking all brake fluid...
Just go back and read the recent posts in this thread. @jcardona1 just offered a bunch of great insight into his very recent (last month) experiences with LEDs.
Hey guys - I'm currently looking to relocate to Wenatchee. I grew up in Gig Harbor (Tacoma area), been down in the SF Bay for the past decade, and ready to get back up to the (dry side of the) PNW. I'm trying to get a handle on what the local area has to offer in regards to true 4x4 trails. I...
@jcardona1 - THANK YOU. I always assumed I'd be re-reading this entire 20-page post when it came time to do the full refresh. Also, to test polarity, are you just doing a loose install and plugging that switch/gauge/etc. in? I'm trying to envision this on scenarios where you wouldn't be able to...
Yep, last year I bought one and it wouldn’t fit, so I chalked it up to a bad bumper and returned it to 4wp. The next one arrived and had the same issue. That’s when I looked on Mud and found the history of issues. I knew it wasn’t worth returning again so I used the bottle jack and a board to...
Here's a post I wrote a few months back when my speedo went out. Take note of the thread I link to regarding the bad trace on the back of the speedometer itself. It seems to be a super common issue and not always easily spotted. It's actually possible the one you swapped in still has the same...
This is some great info. I entertained this option with my old non-winch ARB and got a lot of push-back regarding whether the bumper could handle the load. This implementation method appears solid and looks clean.
The more I research this, the more I realize I really just want a minimum of two inputs (battery voltage and coolant temp) and a max of four (oil pressure & temp) as I'm still years away from Joey's turbo kit (that's still under development because mine's a '94). However, I really, really want...
