    This is the way. I did the same thing when I installed mine today. I could see the sheet metal flexing when it was mounted at a single point. With this way it has zero flex and works perfectly.

    Dumb alternator question

    Is there supposed to be a ground cable from the alternator to frame? Or is it grounded from the alternator body by the mounting bracket? I don’t seem to have a cable and would like to add one if it belongs there. No issues, just want to make it right. thanks
