Grease the new joints again, drive it hundreds of miles for wear in and report back. My 5k front oem joint still lightly vibes on decel only, no caster, no arms. It had to wear in.
The original joint had 180k and was Grrrring both ways for a thousand miles after 850 heavy springs. Was...
Just bought some Chevy fit steel rims16 in. Had 5 out of 6 lugs. Don’t know what the hell brand, but all fit. Haven’t tracked down missing locks or lugs yet. Many Chevrolet lugs are cross reference 12x1.5 and easy to source. May help to find Chev studs n bolts. Auto zone did not supply so far...
The heavy vibes might go away with some wear in miles. However F/R oem U joints should be near the top of the comfortable ride list. I’m at 200k original u joints and have very minor front vibes, stop it with a couple shots of grease. About $50-60 per unit replacement. If that don’t help you...
Sweet confection! If you need advice disassembling the cake, we would gladly volunteer to help! Congrats on 22! X2 here. Also get a fire extinguisher for your cake, and the real truck.

I drove my 85 for six years in my early 20s, off roading It was great, weak and lifeless on hi way though.
While they are an amazing all purpose light truck the 4 Runner was IMO half of what the 80 is. I could have bought my much loved Toy back cheaply, yet I had realized after years with 80s...

Get 315s and new shocks then see where or if they rub. Most 35s fit stock ime except Toyo mts will rub lugs.
I would never give up my cruiser even if it had no windows! We, my brother ect buy Toyota’s and with some maintenance just drive them. No issues after 20 trucks combined between us. They go and go. Our whole family has a bunch. My sister has a Benz but her man is a mechanic.
Was it worth it to give so much time and effort? It has been for me. Tough in many ways yet we are better for it. We, as in the 80 and I. Wife is still jelly.
You guys get it. It is not only the destination of travel, it’s this journey of machinery and mind.
