So, maybe I need to open up a new thread on this item. It is with the windshield wiper functionality. I tried using the fluid to make sure that is working. I can hear the motor running, but no spray on either side. I did pull off the hose where the hose transitions to the hood. There is...
So I wanted to see if anyone out here has had any experience with a problem I am having now. I just turned on my Wiper, and one blade is working working, but the driver side blade is not turning. I guess it would have to be the linkage, but wanted to see if there is anything else to look at...
so could use some additional help on how difficult it will be to replace just the wire. I'm guessing that if I want to have a custom length wire created for the one brake, with the clamp on the end..I would need to have that fabricated. I purchased from rockauto, a full baking setup that is...
Hello there. I'm trying to fix a problem with my 91 80series that has a parking brake problem. It looks like the wire that goes from the back-center of the truck to my passenger back wheel has snapped, and is dangling. I am trying to figure out how far I should replace to get my brakes...
question on the parking brakes adusting, and getting it really to clamp in. If my e-brakes were fine before, is it just a matter of getting the shoes pushed out further, where it will grip the drums better when pushed out?
I was wondering if anyone who has done the brake cylinder for the 3FE has been able to get the cylinder off, without pulling apart the shoes and all springs. I'm guessing not, but I thought I would ask the question. I was going to try releasing the bottom spring, and see if that gives me...
So interestingly, the picture in rockauto shows 2 brake cylinders, but I only got one. I"m sure they will say that the picture is not supposed to be what you get. I put in a complaint to see what they will do.. I just need the one, but it would be nice if they ship another one.
so Jon, I did use an Autozone $20 cylinder. That was probably a mistake. So here is a pic my old cylinder...is that original? I like the idea of a rebuild.
I am trying to do my rear drum brakes for my 91 cruiser. When I got the one side off, I noticed that there was some seeping brake fluid on the brake cylinder. I pulled the cylinder off, and I replaced that. I put everything back together, and I was trying to perform a bleeding of the lines...
i just realized that I may have put this in the wrong group. Is there a way to move it? Or just delete it? I don't see an option for that..so maybe something that the moderator has to do.
My thinking is that the line is not centered on the opening. I'm gong to try centering it better, and see if it gets a better seal with the opening. It is hard to work in there, and know that it is centered.

So it sounds like he does have an available pipe for me to use. I did have one question about cutting the pipe. How would the pipe be joined together once they are in place? I would think welding would be tough. Would you use a small piece of hose, and clamps?
okay thanks for the feedback. It is pretty old. As my buddy likes to tell me, I live in the NorthEast haha. I will try contacting @slow95z to see if he has that pipe.
This is for my 91 80 series. I noticed a gas leak after filling up the tank. I'm thinking it is the pipe that comes off the filler area. I saw a bit of gas on the bottom part of that pipe. Attachment shows the pipe with some white residue. I did some searching and folks talk about that pipe...
